I don't think anyone is questioning his work ethic or effort. It's just that he's been flogged to death so much by BMD that he now seems to start every game unfit / carrying a knock.
A number of games he seems to be unable to finish without breaking down and then having another short lay off.

Given JJB and Ablett are in the same boat and Ferres seeming unfit and Ward injury prone it's really effecting the team.

I don't think that any individual one of Delaney, JJB or ablett re-sending is an issue. All are hard working honest players. However they are all very much in the same mould, and we should be looking at some more dynamic options.

A fit Ferres and Ward isn't a bad second row, but it's not been seen in 3 seasons. There needs to be more than just 2 second rows.

Seconded. Not sure he's that fast either. Would much rather go with L. Briscoe or Golding.

Not that I am advocating signing Swift in anyway, but come on, He is better as a winger than those two.

To be fair Golding might well if settled be a damn good winger if we perservered, but right now, you are vastly under rating Swift or vastly Over rating the other two.

Swift is average just as L.Briscoe is & Golding is untried there.

With a full off season, more time with the team and hopefully some actual tactics / plays being adopted we may yet have a rough diamond in L Briscoe.

Let’s be honest no one is emerging with any glory from this season and no one looks any good this point in time.

All we can do is hope that the gaps are filled and that the new team refresh our dilapidated “attack”

Luke Briscoe looks fine with the ball in hand, perfectly fine. It is without the ball and catching it that he looks absolutely terrible.
