When Myler played behind a similar pack to McGuire did last season he's looked very good.
Hopefully, we can get more stability into our starting line up next season.

At half back Moon is a runner, and a good one at that when on form. To do that he needs a half back partner to do the organisation and a pack to get us going forward. McGuire provided the former last season. This season he has had neither most of the time.

Moon hasn't given a flying one in most games this year he along with many others haven't had the stomach or grit for battle.

I appreciate many on here have made that assumption about Moon, and it may well be true, but he has not had the support around him he had last year.

From the report though seems like he's on a right wedge at Huddersfield and a fee/player deal will be required.

That said I'd happily take him if it meant we could offload a player or two the other way. (But that said I cannot see Giants being interested in the player(s) we'd likely be wanting to include in any deal....unless they want Ferres and Mullalley back)

Just to throw names into the hat for no reason, I watched Sam Kasiano play for Easts in the Qld Cup Final yesterday. He's still a ball handler but since joining the Storm and losing weight he's a bit like Samson sans hair. I wouldn't mind signing him at all so long as he was asked to get stuck into the pies.

Similarly our old chubby chum Greg Eastwood also played in the NSW reserve grade final yesterday. I wouldn't go near him for obvious reasons, but in SL he'd be a standout if his heart was in it.

I definitely wouldn't sign both though - I can't imagine what the catering bills would be like.

Albert vete also playing for easts, he'd be the kind of impact prop id like us to be lookining at.

Agreed, Kasiano might be a decent shout, esp he's now stuck playing reserve grade.

No chance of Kasiano, he’s on a wedge at storm. I have been hearing a lot that Drinkwater is joining. Also that we are recruiting a marquee signing.
