Looked to be a broken jaw on Biffa. JP's looked v.serious too. Knee injury by the looks ok it.

awful looking collision.
99% of those look much worse than they are.
lets hope the poster who thinks he'll miss wembley is wrong, would be a great shame for him.

the likes of morley vs jp at wembley is what this game is all about

That type of shoulder charge is not illegal in RL but it is in RU, precisely beacause of the potential for the sort of injury that Burgess has incurred tonight.
I think that the authorities need to look into this before somebody does suffer from a broken neck or a spinal injury that could result in a player spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
I fear that is the end of the season for Burgess.

Thanks for a sensible answer to my question - I knew I'd read something about it somewhere.

It's a hard one because everybody likes to see big hits and I guess 99 times out of 100 both players come out fine.

That's one hell of an impact from the kick off with 2 players having run flat out for 50 metres between them and takes very little for it to go wrong like it did tonight

Hmm slight disagree as Burgess also dropped his shoulder in to the tackle ? Its the game RL not the pom pom rar rar game .

Really dont think Luke will think it was a bad tackle.

And again hope he recovers ASAP quality player
