Why are people looking for cheap shots over others?
Can you not just celebrate an absolutely marvellous achievement and leave it at that?
Almost every poster on here throughout the season has critisized a player, players, the team, or the coach. At least one of those categories will be on just about all posters. But it doesn't really matter. If the team and coach used that for inspiration to tell us where to stick it, then so be it. Because this one, this year, is the greatest of the lot IMO.

Good post agree with it all, in this season most of us have had a bit of a pop at some time or other. I actually think the support hasn't been bad for the team from the fans. I have probably spouted some rubbish on here but every game I have cheered the players and not booed anyone.
Think the comments were more aimed at media rather than the fans
[watching Mackay testing the curry in the prison kitchens] Fletcher: Course, he sees 'imself as an authority on curry, he does, on account of where he was stationed in the army. Rudge: Where? India? Fletcher: No, Bradford.
Whilst i agree the original poster in this thread has proved himself to be a bit of a mug, how about the Warrington fan i'm quoting???
"All aboard the Wire glory train. Heading for Wembley and Old Trafford"
Good one, totally agree with that one, i know we will never agree on much but we had both had a lot of success over the years but it could be worse.... We could both follow the Wire
there's certainly some cringe worthy posts when we look back with hindsight, but the majority we're made with the clubs best interests at heart. we all love our club and probably all believe at times that we know best, some a lot more than others.
surely that is the reason why no one that posts on south stander has of yet been fast tracked into the headingley hot seat by gh is it not?
ps i loved reading keith swiftcorns comments

To be fair, it's less than 2 years since this squad were crowned champions for a third time in succession, and it's still less than a year since they were still champions. That's not long enough for many Leeds fans to have arrived at the correct conclusion that the squad is past it. They'll need another 12 months of this crap at the very least. The truth hurts.
In the meantime, it's a lot easier to blame the coach.
Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.
Let's hope for a bit more patience and a lot more rugby judgement next time please.
Absolutely no chance.
This is not a new phonemenon. It was argubaly worse in 2007 under Smith's final season. Most of our supporters and most of the posters on here have learned absolutely nothing from watching the greatest group of players in the history of the club show everyone how you play in September and october is really all that counts.
