He along with others it seems.
Similar to how a few Rhinos players over the years brought shame to our great city.
But we move on.
Personally I think he`s done at Leeds but we will see when Bielsa names the squad for the next game.

I’m not so sure he’s done. It’s hardly the biggest mistake, Foden did much worse and city stuck with him (appreciate he’s world class so they should). He’ll get a fine by the club and a wrap on the knuckles.

But look what happened to Hernandez and Pontus when they crossed the line.
On the other hand we still have Kiko at the club and he allegedly did worse so who knows.

I get the feeling that Bielsa will leave this with the international squad. Roberts has been playing well so will want less disruption going into these tough four games.

Agree that the England team needs a rocket up them. So flipping boring and predictable.
I was watching Phillips too and thought he had an ok game.
Got caught in possession twice but covered and distributed the ball well.
For me I prefer him more in the Declan Rice role rather than playing further up field.
England are far too defensive with 4 at the back and Phillips and Rice in midfield.
Grealish when fit should play even if it means sacrificing Sterling.

Thought Rice was our best player. Phillips did well but agree we’re too defensive with him and Rice in same midfield. We’re at home and should always be much more attacking imo.

Sterling is our best player along with Kane, he gets in every time above Grealish but I’d put Grealish in for Philips personally and have Rice as the only DM.

agree with what has been said but i think the reason Southgate has stuck with this formation and style and personnel, is because its how we intend to play at the euros to maximise our chances of beating the more quality teams with lots of attacking threats deeper in the competition.

Phillips and Rice offer more control with their naturally defensive tendencies and it will be Henderson starting if fit where Phillips has been playing at the tournament anyway, but Phillips has clearly done what has been asked of him and will be going as the next man in line to cover the two positions.
