Well done you guys for finishing in the top ten of the Premier League. A remarkable effort which for most people was a complete surprise.
The last time I saw Leeds play was in Hull back in the early 50's when you were in the old Division 2. One of the best ever British footballers played for you then - a gentle giant called John Charles.
Best of luck for next season.
Cheers mate.
I actually played in a charity match with John Charles who had been retired for donkey`s years.
He was still majestic then chesting the ball down to one of his team mates.
Cant remember the year but that stuck in my memory and what a lovely bloke.
Think the pub he had in Churwell is now a Tesco Express or something similar.
Back on the Leeds game I was really pleased how they won that game and showed some maturity for a novice PL team to do that.
Like what`s been said the last 10 games have been quality.
Also coincides with Marty not coming on this thread funnily enough
I also said the same thing to my other half who probably wasn`t listening as usual.
That had we beaten Wolves and Brighton we would/could be in Europe next year which might be a year too soon though.
