The reason I was dissapointed Boxing Day was that every player that played is part of our first team squad, that means they are likely to get called upon at some point this season, and very few came away having impressed when given the opportunity.

Obviously felt a lot better after the KR game, but given the increased injuries every team seems to suffer, I'd have liked to see more from the squad players both, in terms of quality and ability to play to structure.

Call a turd a turd by all means, but let's at least wait until there's some meaningful games or something to actually bloody moan about. Complaining about a team, missing 13 players, losing a completely meaningless pre-pre-season friendly game on Boxing Day isn't something to moan about. And no I didn't go, I didn't fancy paying £20 to watch a training session, i've got much better things to do and to spend my money on at Xmas.

Everything's far from warm & fuzzy at Headingley, or it wasn't last season anyway. I'm not sure where you get the idea that that's what I think, I can only imagine you read too much into what some other posters say on here which is exactly what I said earlier.... Cheers for proving my point.

And sorry you're upset about being called a whinger but you know, if the cap fits and all that...

I'll take a stab and guess you're suggesting me as I'm the other main positive poster on this forum. I don't really get involved in Lioner81's debates unless I have a view I want to make. I'm not part of any clique nor do know anyone who posts on here personally unlike others (I could've stood right next to you at a game for all I know)

Since the new moderators have taken over on here I've tried to not get involved in long winded running battles and barring one slip I think I've been much more reserved than previous even though some other posters aim digs intended for me, So in keeping with peoples wishes to avoid those long running thread ruining battles then if I'm not really involved in the particular argument it's much better for all to not try drag me into it with insults or mocking when I'm not really involved in the first place,

So, after our improved showing against HKR and baring in mind Wigan's 50-10 thrashing by the new boys, does anyone think they might have (just slightly) over reacted to our defeat in the meaningless pre-pre season friendly on Boxing Day where we had 13 players missing?
