Very poor tonight. Weak bench and relying on players returning from long layoffs. Roofe and Clarke badly missed.

My gut feeling is if we lose to west Brom Leeds are playoffs at best and will pay the price for a weak transfer window. Hope I'm wrong though I really do

Klich was poor again last night and so was Roberts.
Brown should have been brought on well before the 80th minute.
We have a few players who are good coming on as a sub for 30 minutes such as Clarke and possibly Roberts.
Roberts does not have the pace of Roofe and tries those silly flicks or turns in the middle of the park that often means he loses the ball in a dangerous position.
Had we have beaten QPR and WBA Friday it would be down to a 3 horse race with Sheff Utd to come to ER.
It`s not looking good as we struggle to beat poor teams.

Friday pretty much becomes a must win if we have designs on automatic. If we are honest the form hasn't really been there since Christmas but have managed to scrape a few results and plenty have gone in our favour over that period. Simply too wasteful in the final 3rd and no way clinical enough. Seems like rinse and repeat every game at the moment.

I maintain what I put on the previous page, which Neruda took out of context. The manager makes the decisions, and he has consistently been calling it wrong since Christmas. He needs to change something there to make happen what really should have been a breeze from what he had achieved prior to Christmas.

That`s true in some ways.
We play the same whoever we are up against and we play the same players understandably there`s not much to choose due to injuries.
But had we brought in more players in January it might have made the difference now.
Most of that team are automatic choices regardless of how poor they have played.

But that is down to the manager. He is the one demanding the small squad, and that he didn't need replacements. Personally, I think he over valued certain players in that squad.

I think I was agreeing with you Gotcha.
Either that or the board turned him down which I find hard to accept.
He picks the team and decides who he needs in the squad.
The fact he chose one player who I think would have helped says a lot.
Like I have said previously I`m not sure if it`s arrogance or naivety despite his known managerial talents.
