Remember when Garbutt punched Tamou in the World Club Challenge against North Queensland? He got 2 games for that. I know it's 6 years ago but has the game really changed that much? The first Holroyd punch deserves a ban, there's no complaints there. But the others were thrown as players were going to punch him. Is he being punished for being a better fighter? The bans the league have dished out this season have lead to this. Because players are picking up 2, 3, 4 game bans for small offenses, it means the bar has been set. But then you compare it to the Sam Powell crusher and can't see any consistency. Which one of those incidents is most likely to cause a serious long term injury
