I think your partly right. great man manager and prepared them perfectly but sinfield didn't coach. they were left to manage during the game and play as they saw it but not actual coaching. that may be your meaning. McDermott is lost now. he would be a superb administrator for the game as a whole though.
I disagree. I've never rated BM's coaching; I think he is very good on the man-management side but cannot coach attacking RL. I think he also thinks he is cleverer than he actually is. Neither can his support staff coach. Jimmy Lowes FFS. It is obvious that Sinfield & Peacock coached the side on a day to day basis & on match days. McGuire & Burrow carried that in their memories but now there is no-one left. A new coach & assistant are required, who can get the best out of the abundance of talent at their disposal.
I agree with most if not all of that, but one area I have to mention is the squad quality. There are a lot of players in this squad that simply wouldn't have been there even 5 years ago never mind 10. There are some talented players, but the squad needs a lot of fresh blood over the next 2 years.
there has to be some problem, wether it be BM or not. Quality players just not performing, it's happened at Hull before. The most financially sound club in SL facing the possibility of a MPG, not right.
Can anyone make an argument for the on field entertainment for the most part being up to scratch from us over the last 5 years apart from bits of 2015? Cas produced more quality rugby over last season than we have shown during that whole period.that team we had on the pitch last night at wigan was good enough to run them close, getting pumped by 40 is shocking they should apologies to the fans who made the effort to travel over on a thursday night.
Magic weekend was a slap in the face to all the fans who turned up to support then too, you could see they were not bothered in the first 5 minutes. Its ok coming out with the argument of being able to turn up when it matters, but if your team can't even get close to being in them games then you have to deal with the stick that comes with it. His time is up, i'd like to see a Wane like announcement that he is moving on at the end of the year and we can part on decent terms and move in a new direction.

Leeds are not facing a million pound game and are not likely to, there is a whole level before we get to that stage, Leeds not even in the bottom 4 (albeit they might be soon). 2 wins out of last 4 should be enough to avoid that, but they would conformable get through middle 8's regardless. Widnes HKR salford particularly widnes look the most under threat.

Considering the rest of the board wanted McDermott out previously and GH put his neck on the line to 100% back him, I would suggest the saving face would be purely selfish reasons at this stage, and in his case would snap off any route suggested.
Do you mean Rhinos' board or Substandard? I wouldn't expect GH to say anything than backing his coach 100%. I reckon he will engineer a face saving move, a la Powell, or BM joining Wane in furthering his education elsewhere at the end of the season.

Don't expect us to turnover Cas, - Widnes have already beaten us this season, HKR took us close in both games, Huddersfield taken 3 points. Now we cannot win for toffee ! It only takes 1 Championship game to go the other way and its the million pound game for us.

I think we are heading for the middle 8's im afraid. Huddersfield and Catalan have both found a bit of form and i don't see us winning more than 2 more of the regular season games. Hopefully we will have enough to finish in the top 3 of the middle 8's but confidence is shot atm and his hard to recover.
