Confidence is shot because we've failed to turn up too often, thinking we can turn it on when it matters. All of a sudden the losses start racking up and we end up facing opponents who are confident of beating us whilst we're waiting for some magic touch to get the win.

The worrying comparison compared to 2016 is that by now in 2016 we started playing tougher and had already started getting a few wins before Segeyaro arrived which clicked us into another gear. This year we're getting worse not better at exactly the wrong time. If you end up in the Middle 8s you at least want to be winning going into them, not losing every week.

I'm going to go through the whole thread whist i'm sat beside the swimming pool on holiday

I'm relieved its over, but I hope down the track he gets more respect than he's received far too often from fans.

Well said and i think he certainly will do. Some of the rugby was turgid and down right shambolic at times during large periods of the regular round games but his ability to get us up for the big occasions is second to none. The two wins from 5th position, the win at warrington in the play offs 2011 ( which i think was his greatest BTW) followed by Burrow's wonder try in the final. WCC win over Manly, back to back CC wins, a treble won in dramatic fashion and then winning the 2017 GF out of nowhere really all things that were done under his watch.
