We’re after a couple whether we get them is a different story. I do wonder if they’ve had a deal or deals nearly done but pulled it as the players not fully committed..

I don't want Ava to leave, but if he does, he goes with my blessings. Should it be he is suffering from homesickness then he was professional enough to finish the season with us. Merrin obviously had a baby on the way and him and his partner wanted to be back in Oz for that. Completely agree with that too.

Should Ava leave, him and Merrin have both left us rather professionally. Would you agree?

Definitely, with Merrin the club made the blunder of saying he would be allowed to leave when a replacement was lined up, that's not merrins fault. Both have put in shifts in the rhinos kit

Nothing bad to say about either from me. Both extremely professional. Merrin had a hell of a lot to deal with and could have gone sooner.

If I remember correctly Seumanufagai was a bit reluctant to come to SL when we first signed him half way through 2019 Season I think Furner wanted him in before start of season but didn't want to up root his young family from Oz, but he eventually signed if Seumanufagai is leaving we need two props because we are already light as it is i really hope we can pull of Tetevano deal and then find another experienced prop from somewhere whether it's another overseas player or a British based player. A good young prop named Oliver Clark is currently with out a club i believe had to be let go by West Tigers to free up Salary cap, he's 24 think he was a bit of a late bloomer didn't make his NRL debut til he was 22 maybe he could be a option for us? I'm not saying he'll be best prop in SL but he'd be a realistic signing or realistic target for us. In an ideal world I'm sure we would love the likes of Martin Taupau to come us but getting players of that calibre is easier said than done.

The best chance of getting a couple of front rowers would be Tetevano as we now have Leniu tied up, Aaron Woods from the sharks as Morris wants to move him on with the emergence of Toby Rudolph, Brandon Uele and Royce Hunt the sharks roster now has to many props, Russell Packer, I’m sure McGuire would drive him to the airport, re Ollie Clark, good young player, big unit, Australian Schoolboys player, Penrith junior Jersey Flegg captain but a little bit injury prone, not simple niggles but 3,4 or 5 week injuries,

Well let’s hope we get two as we’ve no chance of a grand final without. Wigan Saints GF again for me next year by plenty. (As things stand)

Can't see us getting anywhere near them this year even if we get in two props unfortunately.

Let’s wait and see. I find it very difficult to think that we will not sign two props to give strength and depth we wanted one before the first lockdown since then we have had one retirement and one leave for York. So I expect two and we are probably talking to guys right now. However until we get our number one priority across the line we will not know how much cap space we have for a 2nd and possibly another big forward or speedy back. As hard and frustrating it is I would rather wait to get the right men in.
