Not as far as I am aware. Bigger name players will always be paid more than lesser name or younger players. We may not always pay the top dollar but we would have no stars if we did not pay the top guys well. So there will be a huge spear of salaries.

I thought we did have a pay structure.it doesn't mean we dont pay better players more money but we will have limits on how far we'll go.

I'm not Lui's biggest fan but he does have decent passing game. So what's needed is improve his fitness lose some weight and take the line on more. Surely that's not too much to ask.

I think he's way past his "best" we have a much longer pre-season this year but even with that i doubt he'll be any fitter or better.

It's not like he's 35. It should be remembered that he made a big difference to our 2019 cellar dwelling squad and for that we should be grateful. As others have said a stone of weight shed would make a dramatic difference to him. It's up to our coaching staff, and more importantly, Lui himself, to make sure that happens. If he is off contract at the end of the year the club needs to start considering a replacement now. If we are to topple Saints or Wigan it has to be a great one.

Catalans are one of the clubs in for Tet, apparently. Surely they can't have much cap space, or any marquee spots left?

Lui is done. We should cut our losses and give McClelland the 6 shirt for the season. Just play Lui if we have a couple of injuries.
