I was at the brewery field last night, all this nonsense about a waterlogged pitch and a poor playing surface smacks of bad sportsmanship from some sections of saints fans.
It was a good game dominated by both defences, the playing surface was decent enough and the so called pouring rain was in fact a light drizzle.
This game could have gone either way, a draw would definately have been a fair result. If Duggan and Van Dyke had been available then I believe that the crusaders would definately have had the edge. In fact, if not for a stray pass in the last couple of minutes then the crusaders would have won the game.
Give credit where It's due, the Crusaders have not been embarrassed by anyone yet.
