Ok to prove that this is not some keyboard complaint of mine. I’ve wrote in to Phil Daly thanks to the recommendation by McLaren_Field and made these suggestions for the club to work on -

- Musicians / songwriters from Leeds met and other musical establishments in Leeds spend a day with people who like to sing in the south stand crowd to come up with new songs on a get together day. This will hopefully help establish good links between the two groups who would benefit greatly. The song writers will hear they songs sung by about 1000 people on match day and the 1000 people will enjoy singing them songs!

- Have a bit of a media backing by getting journalist to promote it in their blogs / newspaper columns.

- Get the players to send out a message about it all in match day programs and in the media

If anyone has any more suggestions then please say so on here!

I though you was all for getting rid of this vile chanting. I truly believe that these songs are sung again and again because there’s no other GOOD new chants been created! Yeah some get created but how long do they last?

but the male Mary Whitehouse is not what we need

The reason no good chants are started is this......our mob are getting old, we watch games, laugh at Katie Price and eat sweets

coming up with chants is just well.....

It’s not just your mob in the south stand that sing though is it! Yeah age is probably against you and you probably do get bored of singing all the time! But I’m sure a couple of you would be good role models to the next generation of terrace song folk!

I may be wrong but I believe KWLB has created a few new songs in the last couple of years including the Peacock song that referred to his member. He probably got the approval by whoever he hangs with on match days who choose to sing it with him. It is not the kind of stuff we want to promote to the kids sitting on the wall at the bottom of the south stand!

I know!!!!!!!!!!Why don't we release rose petals and snowy white doves when the players come out instead of noisy pesky fireworks and play 'All you need is love' over the tannoy!!!
