Can't the government just change the name to British Day or sommat, people might care more then rather than the same arguments of why we should celebrate St Georges day and St George not being British

Nothing to celebrate about England, just an excuse for a 2nd mickey up for those who are jealous of St Paddys day.

Maybe there was something celebrating 30/40 year ago, but not anymore. Things that happen down South are like another world to me, and what have we got to be proud of. Jade Goody's funeral live on TV?

The only time I bother putting England flags up is when either rugby league or the football is on and it’s a world cup.

But either way happy St Georges day for those who are proud!
