Soon we will be dancing the Fandango FROM 2004,TO DO WHAT THIS CLUB'S DONE,IF THATS NOT GREATNESS THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT IS. JAMIE PEACOCK
Brian Mac's comments about Lowes would make a good SL head coach was interesting.I wonder if Lowes departure to another club maybe next season or the one after and JP would then step in and begin his coaching career as assistant to Mac

RHINOS TILL I DIE “Tough times come and go, tough people last forever"
Even though he is not a the same level as 3/4 years ago, he is still one of the premier props in Super league. If over the remainder of his playing career he can pass his wisdom and ethos on to the younger players at the club, it can only be good for the club.
Also if his contract had not been renewed, he would IMO have had 13 super league clubs plus some from the NRL after is signature.

You may well laugh, but if NRL teams have been sniffing around Adrian Morley, why would they not have been sniffing around Jamie Peacock. IMO JP is a better prop than Morley.

It's not often I agree with Keith, but I do on this.
The idea that any NRL clubs would be chasing a player in decline coming towards the end of his career like Peacock is laughable.
If he's managed to get two years out of Leeds on the same salary he's on now, then good on him.

You mean like the roosters wanting Morley? Or Newcastle signing Buderus?

Thank goodness Hull FC didn't sign JP.
There'd have been another 40+ page thread on how he was too old and past it and how the rhinos don't really need him and have had the best out of him and we're not bothered and thanks you're a legend JP and always will be and all that but it's time to look forward and move on and good on GH for not shelling out on a ridiculous 2 year contract especially at his age and let some other desperate mugs do that instead cos he won't make any difference to Hull's chances of breaking into the Top 4 anytime soon, typical Hull signing another pensioner well past his best, Oi get back to us when you've won a few trophies cos you've got nothing to brag about here what a joke club and we're not bitter, what are your fans doing on our forum anyway, you're not even in Yorkshire, etc.

Are either of those coming off the back of serious knee injuries?
Both of them are, IMO, performing at the same high level as they were 2-3 years ago. Not sure you can say the same about Peacock.
Plus, both of them have already built up a reputation in Australia and shown they can handle the NRL. Peacock hasn't.
