Looks like Matty Ashton is out for them, big blow for them he looks a real find and his pace could have really hurt us.

I remember a lot of the southstand getting on Seniors back in his first season. Was ridiculous

I don't remember anyone getting on JP's back. The issue at the time, IIRC, was whether or not he was being used effectively as a prop forward, after being a blockbusting second-row at Bradford. It's worth noting that the coach at the time, Tony Smith, also liked to use JJB at prop, and the 2006 season was pretty lacklustre given the squad at our disposal. 2007 was a different story, however, and the rest is history.

I vaguely recall some issues with Senior but he seemed to come good pretty quickly.

Peacock came as a wide running back row and Smith converted him into a prop - no wonder people were not getting what they expected

It'll be a tough one to call, shame are lass books a city break that Friday. Hopefully, Ward and Martin are back but keep Gale as captain. Say Leeds by 10 especially after our performance for the last 2 weeks and last season at Home against Warrington, be great if Lineham slides for the try line but can't make it again .

Lui was poor in pre season too. Play Myler there. Dwyer can do 80. Donaldson to start in place of Mellor. Should have enough decent tacklers in the middle to stop clean breaks attacking Dwyer.
