Ruan might be young and make mistakes but he needs chances to improve

No issues with Ruan, just think Smith might go with a player with more experience given it's a knockout game. He does have some interesting choices to make for once.

Donaldson was 18th man Friday I think.

Rumour that Dodd might not play Friday along with Makinson and Percival of course.
Certainly weakens their backline somewhat.

Just checked on Google.

Prop James Donaldson was 18th man last week after completing a two-match ban and forward Leon Ruan did not feature in the gameday side, following three successive appearances.

Worrying that it was Mom’s shoulder that was injured, I thought it might be. Hope he’s going to be okay - I imagine he will play if anywhere near fit.

Lisone probably the big change for us this week, we need more power in the middle and he gives that. Could be first choice 1-17 other than Fus.
