Prior booked on a flight Monday arrives Tuesday.Sinfield admits he's had talks with him about his future and there were some doubts over his future relating to covid.Looks like what Boris said on Monday was really important according to Sinfield.Full interview on Leeds Live

Glad he's coming back. Terrific player. On the basis of those discussions with Sinfield I suspect that this will be his last year. Maybe there is something in the Tapau rumour.

Yes just read that. Thought it was looking a bit iffy!! Doesn’t surprise me tbh it must have been very difficult for him and his family especially going back to Aus where the situation is much better. But thankfully we’re looking good to go here by mid summer! Came close to losing him though....

Just listening to full 80 with Craig, mick and Matt Shaw. Very cryptic answer given to being asked about Leeds interest in Trueman for 2022.

Craig... ‘here’s the thing, should Leeds be interested in a player of Truemans Calibre? For me No, cos they have mclleland, but will Leeds be interested, yes, they need that position cementing in 2022 so why not? Castleford job is keep hold of him, building a team around him, but he’s 22 year old, will want to win things in the future and where better to do that then Leeds, so I think Leeds may be looking at that. I am Callum and Jakes agent and I believe in sticking by someone, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do a deal that’s better for the other if that’s what the club want.’

Here’s what we have...

Luke Briscoe, James Donaldson, Tom Holroyd, Konrad Hurrell, Kruise Leeming, Robert Lui, Rhyse Martin, Callum Mclelland, Jarrod O’Connor, Matt Prior, Alex Sutcliffe, King Vuniyayawa, Sam Walters are all out of contract at the end of the season.

I see Hurrell, Leeming, Martin, Mclelland, O’Connor, Sutcliffe, Vuniyayawa and Walters all being renewed. I will be shocked if Holroyd already hasn’t been renewed. Judging by Sinfields comments about Prior recently, I think that decision is already made that he will return home. Donaldson will probably leave as he’s blocking a youngsters spot or stay on a reduced contract. Briscoe will leave as he’s blocking both Hall and Tindalls future. That leaves Lui, which I think will leave.

Trueman coming in as the marquee half back we all want, partnering with Gale and then Gale being taken over by Mclelland in a few years.

I wouldn't be surprised if martin went personally.How many years does Mclelland get to prove his quality? I think some of the criticism he gets is a bit harsh but he can't be hanging around for another 2 or 3 years waiting to get a regular game

I think if we could do a deal with Cas then we could get him for less than marquee money.I would probably think not much more than what Lui is on.

No smoke without fire by the looks of it re Trueman. Don’t think he’d need to be marquee though. Watching with interest
