Saw an interview where martin said he was out of contract but he wasn't really thinking about next year (Lui was the same).A total contrast to hurrell. Prior has been really good for leeds and we need a big year from him if we are going to progress this year but if king,zane,thompson,smith,holroyd and mic are still here and doing well I have no issue with him going (it'll free up a fair bit of cap space and an overseas place).

I'm sure Martin will stay. He's a solid backrower for us and a great goalkicker, but he lacks size and physical dominance which is why there won't be many NRL clubs desperate to give him a contract.

For oversees players like Martin, I'm sure it's a choice between being a full time pro, and being back in Aus.

We should already be talking to Prior about playing in 2022. Great player, and would have thought a good influence on the squad.

I agree with loads of that but to me a key thing about martin initially was his goal kicking, but now we have gale I'm not sure he is that important.if he signed a new contract tomorrow I'd be as happy as the next man though.

I wrote somewhere today how mcllelland wouldn't get a chance without a medium to long term injury.Now is his chance.

Could do. Though I’d be interested to see if someone like Trueman would bring out the best in Mclelland as they are mates. Mclelland was rated as the better prospect when they were both at Cas.
