Will be a massive blow to Wigan's season if was to go now.I'm so pleased we didn't pay a big fee with the get out clause Hastings wanted in put place.

Is Bevan French actually in UK at the moment? I'm sure I'd read something about him still not being here recently...

Think Wigan posted a photo on social media of French on a flight back here earlier today.

On his way back now. I don't know why he wasn't here earlier but certainly not the best preseason preparation.

So who would you guys like to see us sign for next year? Has to be a serious push for the title in 2022.

I’m still hoping for a Taupau or JWH swan song for a couple of years.

We’ll deffo need another quality prop and back row as Prior won’t be here. Also King is a gamble.. very very rough around the edges, highly possible he won’t work out. So could see a big hitter like Tapau being brought in plus one other. Interesting to see what they do in the stand off department, suppose it hugely depends on how Eastmond goes.

Slightly sobering to think that Wigan will also be shopping for a prop and probably a half with a big bag of Burgess and Hastings related free cash. Certainly will be stiff competition for any available players.

Cant tell you how close we was to signing Hastings. So glad he vexed us about and asked for more time to think it over.

The timing of his latest stunt is disgusting.
