Much depends on the development of Walters, O’Connor, Tindall, Edwards, Gannon and possibly one or two others. We have plenty of seniors in the back row - would agree quality could be better but I feel we have it in the pipeline.
We do have the opportunity to replace 2-3 players with one better one in the pack. I want us to sign a real prop: I’m sick of “middles” like Merrin who for me are neither one thing nor another. Let’s have the confidence in Cam Smith at 13. We need direct aggression down the middle, and yardage. We are crying out for another first grader who can lift Mik and Holroyd, and take some responsibility off them. Once we have an awesome foursome we’ll be getting somewhere.
