Hoy would be what we are looking for he's young and can play fullback or in halves but I don't see Newcastle letting him go, Watson is also a class player covers halves & hooker can see him getting a new deal in NRL, Mann again goof utility but can see him staying in NRL, Remember seeing last year Buderus & Sinfield wanted to set up a link/ loan system between Leeds & Newcastle Knights where some of there young players come too us & vice versa too blood them into full time professional and possibly get contracts for either club at end there's a few at Knights that I'd happily take.

I can see us signing George Burgess next year.
A fit George Burgess would be a shrewd signing imo especially if we can get him on the cheap.

We certainly have enough experience managing players back from injury...

Bottom line here is money. If we’re going to bring quality in from NRL -
we might luck out on a project signing but we are going to have to pony up.

It’s very hard because that could unbalance the squad and it puts huge pressure on those coming in (not least from team mates who are on less money than them).

Be fascinating to see what the club comes up with. One of the most important off-field seasons in a long time I’d say.

I can see the marketing email now from GH in the off season should say any of Martin, Prior, Hurrell leave as well as Lui

‘ I appreciate we have lost 2/3/4 of our overseas players for 2022 but we have faith in the quality of our contracted squad and youngsters coming through and because of restrictions in our player budget due to COVID, we have taken the pragmatic approach to stay with the squad we have and new leaders will emerge from within the current squad to help our exciting crop of youngsters come through to the 1st team. Rest assured though, given the number of quota spots we now have available, we will be in a position to strike should players of the required quality become available mid season’

I think the current covid situation hasnt helped with international flights curbed, not being able to travel around the country during downtime and the obvious lack of any atmosphere at games for over a year now has brought the focus into a few antipodean minds to go home unfortunately. The life style over here benefits massively with players being able to do some travelling, seeing the sights and sounds of Europe and the UK and with the added crutch of "your only a flight away from home" taken away its had a big impact on morale.

Honest interview with Prior in Leeds Live.Basically says he's happy with his form likes the club and area but is waiting to see if things gets back to normal. Virtually rules out playing again in the NRL.Things should be back to normal by end of June so I think there is a chance he'll do another year.
