George Williams off to Warrington by the sounds of things.

Not a bad thing mind as that might mean more chance of Jake Trueman to Leeds.

Not sure that one precludes the other where Wire are concerned. With both Austin and Widdop likely to be leaving they might have room for both.

Both play at 6 not sure they would complement each other. I would make Trueman a number one riority. He has all that is needed for a 6.

I'd like Trueman too (although big transfer fee would be involved) simply because English players are a better bet long term. Not sure on your point about both being sixes.Just seems to be a case of which side of the field they play on nowadays.

Maybe in defence they stand different sides. 7's still tend to take the ball closer to the ruck with the 6 generally linking when attacking. I think when srums come back we'll see a return to normal roles of 6 and 7.Truman would be great with Gale.

Why do people on here think we have a given right to sign Trueman?
Firstly do we think GH will spend big money?
Secondly why would Trueman want to leave Cas with no pressure on him to have the weight of the world on his shoulders here in a bottom half team?

The only difference between 6 and 7 is the number on their back. Yes you look for skills to complement each other where possible though whether you play split halves or link them up more the numbers neither here nor there.
