Speaking of 300 - I'd still like Bailey to crack the 300 appearance club for Leeds before he leaves (whenever that might be) - 13 to go at present so still possible before the season end.

Indeed there were - like the referee they were a necessary evil and every team had and needed them. They didn't go around winding opponents up trying to goad them in to a reaction to gain a penalty or try to get another player sent off - those type of antics were left to the half-backs. The forwards talked the talk and walked the walk and still shook hands at the end of the game and no doubt had a drink or several in the bar afterwards.

I'm talking about what he's like on the field and if
he chooses to leave at the end of his current contract I'd wish him a safe journey as I said above. I'd actually like to see him over in the NRL - there's a very good player in there somewhere IMO and I think we might get to see that side more if he wants to make it.
