You lot are really doing yourselves no favours because in two and a half years from now when your franchise has been revoked the rest of the league will, in unison utter the words “thank God they’re gone”.

See all the rest is just banter after I took a fishing trip on here. However this is the attitude of as arrogant spoilt kid who has no real love for our great game.

For someone to have the desire to see a founder member of the RL lost from the game is poor enough but then to suggest he talks for more than himself and a few no hopers like smokey is the ultimate disgrace. You don't talk for the game, you talk for yourself and should be utterly ashamed.

I wish Leeds all the best as a flagship club, I wish some of their fans would go back to watching Leeds United where there partisan behaviour is more at home.

We have a deep rivalry with Cas but never have I wished their demise.

That reminds me of the days when Wakey used to make a living out of Leeds - prepare for the funny bit. We'd have a few OK young kids, we'd sell them at vastly over inflated prices to Leeds. Then Leeds would over pay and underplay them - but they would be set up for life. Then we would get them back usually after an even more lopsided in our favour player exchange fresh as daisies and ready to hit their peak as players.

It worked a treat til Hetherington arrived

You were doing fine until you suggested the notion that a Leeds club would ever pay a player enough to be "set up for life".

The only Wakefield player who left the club "set up for life" was Richard Harris.
