I don't think there's ever been a question mark over Kirke's professionalism, I think it's (partly) that that got him into the squad so often.
You're right though it seemed like his testimonial was too much effort for Bailey, there didn't seem to be any effort or thought put into it. And his apparent attitude since signing for Hull KR stinks. He should've seen it as the biggest challenge of his career. His opportunity to become a number 1 prop in a team. An opportunity to lead.
But it appears that would've been too much effort too. It's easier to just sack it off. If he's not careful he'll end up down the leagues in short order.
