Not sure wigans first refusal means anything with him being released from his contract...its nothing to do with canberra now i would of thought. He's a free agent and as such the decision is his to make.

Either way..id be amazed if we'r in with a chance

He may have to sit out the season or a loan deal somewhere till the end of the season.

Williams has gone mad about it on social media. Says he wanted to be released end of season and they've dumped him mid year... wow.

Just gonna chalk this up as a pipe dream, with him only being 75k on their cap it seems the writing is already on the wall

Arguably best squad in the league 7 wins out of 7 games, they never have to rebuild a team, have first choice on most of the best NRL players that come over here yet it seems they pay their players very well always plenty of cap space available. Am I missing something here

There is no obvious reason why he would not go back to Wigan. Hes a Wigan lad wants to be near his family and they are currently one of the best 2 teams. Good luck to him but think Leeds should be concentrating on Trueman for next year. This season is all ready a washout as far as challenging at the top end and all of our energy should be on next years rebuilding
