If Prior goes, Aaron Woods would be a good replacement. Maybe past his peak, but he can still play.

The competitive advantage SL clubs have in landing 30 plus NRL players is the length of contract offered. Hard to see Aussie clubs handing out three year deals so if a Johnson wants to extend both career and earnings the UK or France is a logical route.

I wouldn't sign Drinkwater, he's been gash everywhere he's been outside the South of France.

Seen Woods play a few times and doesn`t seem to have the engine for the type of player we need e.g a Prior, Merrin or Peacock.

Aidan Sezer available as he won’t be at giants next season, they’ve signed Tui Lolohea and Theo Fages for their half back pairing for 2022. Likely he would probably get a job in the NRL mind but if we can’t get Trueman, he’s next option for me.

Top player Sezer. Not hit the heights of his NRL days though over here imo but I think he’d do very well for us
