Indeed, when these guys come over here its all about the lifestyle and change of scenery we can offer.

Being stuck in a flat staring at the four walls due to lockdowns just cant compete with a fully open Aus.

Expect Prior is waiting to see what Boris says on Monday then he’ll decide if he’s staying for another year.. I think if there’s major doubt going forward he’ll want to head home

I dunno, I think a winning team going in the right direction and enjoying his football will play a part too. The effects of COVID over here aren't going to be as severe as this forever, given the vaccine roll-out.

Winning team only goes so far. It wouldn't make much difference if his family are stuck inside 4 walls would it?

Other than overseas travel and having to wear pointless masks - people can pretty much do what they want now.

People aren't under house arrest.

It isn't good timing as he's making his decision I guess, but for all our sakes I'd like to think that by the end of the Summer we will be much more like normal again.

This is still a serious disease but with the vast majority of the vulnerable vaccinated now for me we need to be opening up over the Summer again. Actually IMO the main threat is from variants going forward; but vaccination across the world is the way forward. Aus and NZ haven't really bitten that bullet yet but they will have to.

It's serious if you're 82 or older - or have underlying health issues.

Pretty much like any other communicable infection.

It's serious whatever age you are. Whether you get a bad case or not send to be more luck than anything else. Hopefully the vaccine rollout will allow us to get back to some normality but masks are here for a while I reckon.
