 To be fair it was an important match in some respects. Sinfield first showing his true quality in the first team with two excellent tries.

I remember it well, we made hard work of it in the first half.

Gotta love their breeze block toilets!! :D

Sure did. Talking of Widnes & Andy Hay it reminded me of a true laugh out loud moment. When I heard Hay was to be their Captain. What were they thinking

Remeber one year for Leeds (maybe his last) he started on storming form, 6 trys (or so) in the opening month. Then it went quickly down hill.

And how many times would you see him, in space on the left, and he'd try that dummy to the left, and he'd go on his own and got put down??? Far, far, too often IMO.

He was never gonna be a world beater, but least he held a career in the top flight. That should never be over-looked.

I forgot about his great dummy. Nearly everytime he had the ball. I think it was Jamie Mathiou who always did the same thing, he held on 1 or 2 more times though.

Pure comedy. Saying all that though he got further in the sport than I did.

Mathiou, what a puzzle he was????

From super-sub, to super-penalty machine. His head can't have been screwed on right.

When he was over here he lived at Woodlesford (near Rothwell), nice enough bloke, always had time for the fans. Just don't ask him about Barrie Mc!!!! :x

He lived in Methley, near Rothwell for a while not sure if you're memorys fading or that he moved there. He rented my grandma's old house which at the time was owned by Daryll Powell. He was a nice bloke. I remember one christmas he & his wife came to my grandma's house, which was a few doors down to give her a christmas present. Top bloke.
