Yes and I am sure all at the Rhinos believe the squad was talented enough to achieve those objectives as well.
But in sport, its' about how the selected team plays on the day. there's no evidence at all to suggest that even if we had added Sam Burgess, Michael Shenton, Greg Eastwood and Israel Falou we would have won Sunday's game or the WCC.
Had Mclennan delivered on Sunday maybe GH might've given him so dosh to blow on the luxury of another player.
Financially it is a blow, we had hoped to progress further, but of course it's the luck of the draw at the nd of the day. To go out at the first hurdle does have an impact, particularly in these recessionary times – it is challenging for everybody at every club every day.
