That's kinda where I'm at, atm.
To not be trying to find upgrades/ replacements for 1,6,7 and an argument for 9 *if* the right player came along would be insanity ( assuming you want the team to be competing for top 4 or 6 and not top 8 or dodging relegation).
My concern is that it *feels* like we always leave it to late, an I.pression aided by the late announcement of said signings compared to others. Compounded by other teams signing better players when we seem to struggle.
I see both sides. GH/RS could have some solid/ big signings up the sleeve and if so they will have done a great job in also clearing out some deadwood to accomplish it.
However, if we get towards ST time and the signings are poor either in quality or positions that arent priorities( and thus look like bargin bin shopping) or we save the cap space for a mythical mid season option then I can understand why many would consider it history repeating itself for the 8th time.
I'm hopeful but also skeptical.
