Very interesting to see Cuthbertson on the list, but I thought it was a mistake giving a 33-year old a 2 year deal in the first place. He and Garbutt both being 'available' suggests the front row is seen as the key problem area, and that replacements have been identified. Presumably a hooker replacement for Parcell as well (or at least a plan).
Whilst we can't do it with everyone, I'd suggest those who we really consider not good enough at all (Mullally, Golding, Walters) should be told in no uncertain terms that there's no future at Leeds, and that if they insist on seeing out their contracts they'll be on loan all season in the lower leagues. That should encourage them to look elsewhere. We've had far too many players hanging around the squad for years only getting games due to injuries and its a recipe for mediocirty. There should be a minimal number of players in the squad who are genuinely only around for backup, and even the younger ones should have a short shelf-life - either grab a place when given the chance or go elsewehere.
