It seems Catalan don’t have the pulling power they did back then and aren’t willing to pay for the premium to sign the talent they want, what happens now?

Peachey being ‘all but signed’ and then signing to Penrith is unfortunate but that plus the ***insert catalan player here*** stuff makes them look amateur, Catalan fans will be starting to get antsy about every other club doing good business whilst they sit around and watch. Even the leopards are making signings which are putting us to shame. Is ****insert Catalan owner here*** past it?


Rival clubs are clearly finding ways to get things done so no excuses really. Hopefully ****insert Catalan owner here*** has something special up his famous sleeve.

I don't think their fans have too much to be concerned about. Their CEO, Bernard Guash is among the most dynamic in the game when it comes to recruitment. Maloney and Pearce in recent years really stand out, but the list is long and deep. There is a reason why they finished in the top 4 in the last 4 years and are heading for 2nd league leaders trophy in that period. His record speaks for itself. As a long time Leeds fan I can't honestly say that GH's recent record gives me that level of confidence. I want him to absolutely nail it this year, but it is more hope than expectation.
