As for Clune, its likely that at the start of next season he won't have played first grade for over a year. I think we can do better.
So I think Smith has been one of our best and most consistent players all year; didn’t have an impact last night.
Oledski isn’t in the same form as last season but he would still make any side’s 4 prop rotation I’d say. He’s still relatively young.
Clune I’m not excited about I have to say, but I don’t know enough about him. It does sound like we are struggling to attract talent in this market. Then again we have paid over the odds for 70% of our overseas players in recent years especially marquees.
New strike FB with pace; new 6 or 7, another big middle would be my choices still and the club needs to decide whether Johnson or O’Connor are able to take the team forward at 9 or whether we need another option.
