Ridiculous and worrying. Genuine question do you think we’d be in a stronger position this season (and planning for next) if McDermott hadn’t been ‘let go’?

Looking at the first choice 17 of Leeds and KR I can’t see a single position where leeds are stronger, how have they let it slide to this.

Merrin is better than Lawler

Hurrell is better than either of their Centres

I would say Lui is better than Drinkwater

Ward is better than Tomkins

Slim pickings I know

Don’t get carried away that Hull KR have won a derby game, theyre still right there in the mix, losing to Lindon should show you that.

Merrin yes, Hurrell negated by the halves though see if that changes, not sure re lui and Drinkwater, ward doesn’t get on the field enough to warrent being better than anyone at the minute.

Anyway as I say if they're so much better than we are how have the got a worse points difference and could still be bottom by Sunday?
