A well rested Giants side will rip it up in the playoffs. - Wigsey - 15/07/13

So in the context of human emotion, a side at 10 -0 or 2 tries down at home to the champions are still as motivated when 20 odd points and 4 tries down at home to the champions ?

I truly give up.

Yet again yes. They are 2nd in the table. Their confidence is up following a run of good form. They are at home, they have only been beaten at home once this season I believe.

They are playing the reigning champions who have only won one game from the last 5 in all competitions. Their opponents confidence is shot and they are looking like they have run out of gas. If they continue to plug away and claw some of those tries back whos to say their opponents confidence wont crumble again.

Should we continue and see what happens or should we throw the towel in with at least half a game to go and ship more points?

By the way the champions thing shouldnt really come into it should it. As you and your fellow ming mongs keep telling us we are only champions because of a one off game whilst the all conquering Stains are the true (If uncrowned) champions.

In the context of scouse emotion I take it you would deem it acceptable for stains to give up if 22 nil down at half time to the champions?

Stick to gymnastics you sad act! :SHHH:

Yes and since then I have corrected to you what was meant through the post, which you already knew as you have posted a reply to myself on a thread on another board. Why continue with the nonsense ? Any reason at all ? Is it a deliberate decision to ignore later posts and just continue banging on and on about an earlier one, even when corrected ?

None of this means jack as the reality is that there is absolutely no way a side will play with the same effort, energy, motivation or intensity when 4 tries behind, none at all. I guess its a struggle for you to grasp, have ever played the game ?

Nice insult by the way, a tad less extreme than the usual posted on here but not a bad effort. Are people only permitted to post on this board if they include a customary insult ?

We'd lost twice at home this season until last night, St.Helens and Hull FC.
Leeds were well up for this and the importance of last nights game maybe got to us a little. We dropped more ball last night than we have all season put together. The way Leeds were up for it I doubt we would have won but I also think most of the 50/50 calls went Leeds way which helped them get a strangle hold on the game in the first half. Anyway i'm not too downhearted, the effort was there just more more composure required. We'll bounce back next week against Wire.

Thank you, I do try. No I havent played the game but I dont know what that has got to do with motivation.

You havent answered my question. Would it be acceptable for stains to throw the towel in if 22 nil down at home with half a game to go?

I await your reply.

TBH i think you could be correct matey. I was so looking forward to this game and probably the attention the fixture was creating got to our players unlike Leeds who are used to hyped up games. We'll learn from it hopefully and come back stronger. Hopefully in the near future we can be your big Yorkshire derby rivals now Bradford are on the slippery slope.
