On the basis of the many postings on here, there wasn't any money allocated for Ellis. As has been pointed out Leeds have a more than efficient back row, so did not need to add anything to it. Despite his age Peacock is another legend and fully deserves an extension.

Think it is good signing for Leeds, happy with the two year deal and hopefully gradually see the transition of the youngsters

Ah, would that be the "Whirling Dervish" ploy? A much under estimated weapon in a rampaging forwards armoury, and seen far too rarely these days.

I shall be especially looking out for it in tonight's Wigan/Warrington match, and will be a tad disappointed, if there's not a couple of tries as the result of those big lumpy lads' silky offloading skills....

I feel sorry for Keith Swiftcorn, its obvious his life must be so empty and disappointing on a daily basis.

Which NRL clubs have been sniffing around Morley?

Do you believe every beat-up sharticle story you ever read on what was obviously a slow sports news day for the Sydney Morning Herald?

Like THIS ONE which refers to claims by unnamed sources that there has already been some discussions with the Roosters... a claim which Morley himself refutes HERE... and a sharticle which cannot even cite the correct date of the next Rugby League World Cup, unless it's suddenly been moved forward to the year 2015!

So Morley is concentrating on the Wolves, but I bet his agent is in discussions with clubs in the NRL and superleague about Morley's possible future employment opportunities.

You really are an ar5ehole of the highest degree.

I hope and pray that my kids don't grow up to be as sad and twisted, so they spend their entire day by themself trying to start arguments whilst hiding behind a keyboard.

Anything is possible, although unlikely. I still think there is something in the Roosters story, even if it is to get a better deal at the Warrington.

I'm delighted that JP's contract has been extended by a further 2 years

People forget that JP had a late introduction into top flight RL and IMO that has prolonged his career at the back end of it

He will also be a great role model to our younger players who are now breaking through into our first team and ensure that our winning ethos will be passed onto our next generation of players

If JP can't manage his game, even at his age and in order to peak for the half dozen tough sides he plays against each season in SL then i'll dye my hair red
