Apparently they have been let off with a caution as they had no previous (if you get a caution for not having a record, how do you get a record?)

The lad is out of hospital but he had to be stuck back together and according to his mum is in a real mess.

And they were not Leeds fans and at least one is known by the victim

Yeah but the ratio is much more than that. I would class 5% of society as bellends so thats 1 in 20.

Also probably another 20% are bellends when they have had more than 4 pints which is why a Grand Final is like any night out in town post 9pm, bellends everywhere.

disgraceful. i sometimes watch these fly on the wall police shows. nearly every time there is a drunken brawl, they fight with police, get locked up and released without charge next morning.
it really winds me up. no wonder we have a scum, violent society when the police don't do there job properly.
get them charged and hammer the b'stards

OK, The guy in the Warrington red away shirt got a real pasting. The good thing is that there were four CCTV cameras on the underside of the stand which I hope will aid in the identification of the assailants and the woman who appeared to be involved in some way. No paying spectator should go to any sort of sporting event where the end result is being beaten up in public. Rugby League is the greatest game on earth. Sadly, there are a few idiots who tarnish clubs reputations.

From one of the many genuine Rhinos supporters I am sorry this happened.

Just read the post added whilst I typed this - irrespective of previous he should have been prosecuted.

One of the group with the guy in a pinkish t-shirt (who did an extraordinary amount of punching, yet didn't get thrown out by the sluggish stewards) was wearing the special joining jack shirt. Think I saw one of the women in the group with a club shirt but don't want the wrath of that particular club visited upon me.

It was very nasty, just glad my 9yo was far enough away.

And to reiterate, none of the people fighting had Leeds colours on.
