Personally I would be very suprised if the parcell and Cuthbertson rumours of being told they can leave were nothing more than that, maybe they have been told to up their game? I will be happy if they are staying

Interesting tweet frim Cuthbo this morning replying to pete smiths article which naned the players who are available to leave. He tweeted it was news to him.
This could get messy because PS only names players when he has a solid club source.

You would have thought the players would know before Smith.
So either Smith has got it wrong or he has got it right but was a little premature releasing the names.

No way should anyone but the hierarchy know before the players involved. Terrible management if true.

I didn’t say he was on his way out. He is one that’s been made available to leave by the club if someone comes in for him. His agent says he’s staying at Leeds until the end of his contract at least.

Ok. Glad he is staying.
If these players that are under contract but have been told they are free to leave, decide to stay and see out there contract there is little Leeds can do. Lets hope the majority see it as an opportunity to show Furner they are worth a place in his squad and not spit their dummy out. If the rumours are true we could have almost half the squad feeling that they are no longer wanted. I know after the season we have had many fans won't mind that, but if they are all still here next season we could have a pretty disgruntled squad.

That`s true and can work to your favour as well.
Those players might just want to prove Sinfield wrong providing he picks them that is.
The reliance on the old school certainly in the pack is the most worrying for me.
If we lose Cuthbertson, Parcell and Garbutt we have lost imo three of our better players and retained others that have done very little over the last couple of seasons with little sign of getting better with age!

Didn’t something similar happen with Burrow and Mcdermott in 2012

Yes and that worked out ok.
Also happened to Sinfield and McDermott and that didn`t end up too shabby either.
