I don't think they'll all go either. The Aussies mentioned are the only ones anyone would bat an eyelid about, and none of them would be pushed out without a replacement or are likely to be unless their contract can be torn up if they sign elsewhere.

Having said that its high time the club got a bit more ruthless as well - we signed a bunch of daft extensions this year with the likes of Lilley and Cuthbertson at opposite extremes, and they need to be sorted out rather than just waiting for them to expire. Right now if every player under contract decides to stay it will take at least an extra year to get the squad into the right shape.

I think the majority mentioned will leave, bar Parcell and Cuthbertson

John's a legend. Anyone know when he first appeared at HQ? He was selling copies of Rugby Leaguer when I started going in 75.

I agree regarding the extensions signed early in the season. In hindsight it's a clear indication of how off the mark McDermott was getting.

Regards the squad reshaping, it's going to take prob 3 off seasons to get back to a good position as inevitably some of the signings we make will look good on paper but just not work out.

It will take longer for the academy to start producing with some regularity.

So I'm not too fussed if some of the squad players take a year or two to shift. Tbh, any player worth his salt who is told they won't be getting game time should be keen to move on, albeit they may need to spend a couple of months at Fev to pursuade them.

No idea mate but he's been there as long as ive been going (80) & is a Legend imo. Ive bought numerous books off him over the years.

All this bloke has done is pick some names, tag them in a legit interview with sinny and created a number of news stories (both cuthbo and parcel having to come out and deny) out of nothing.

The "source" will have been more than credible & he doesn't just pick names at random or from here (ala Nosy parker from LW).
To suggest he's just making stuff up is way off the mark & disregards how well connected to the Club he is.
