Newcastle Knights have signed Will Pryce and Kai Pearce-Paul for next season.

Hudds have also signed Toby King in a swap deal for Jake Wardle

Fair play to Warrington here for taking a lot of positive action with regards recruitment for next season already.

I fear we are once again being left behind the rest in terms of recruitment.

The Toulouse squad announcement for the Wigan game had him listed as missing with an ankle problem. Whether that's true or not who knows?

Wow that is very early to go to NRL for those 2 and Will Pryce in particular but both look to have loads of potential as
Does Joe Wardle.

Wire will have An exciting fast young back line next year, Wrench looks very good plus Ashton and Thewlis are rapid.

I hear Josh Simm may be a available from Saints, he looks a talent. I know we have a few young centres be interesting to see if he goes anywhere

Wardles a good signing for Warrington, classy player, would love him in our centres with Newman.

Ourselves and Warrington are two big clubs in a similar poor position, one's moving heaven and earth to do somthing about it, one's seemingly meandering along with its head up its a*se.

I'll not get too excited about warrington yet, they've chucked money at their problems many times over the years with little return.

I actually think we have less to fix than them right now. Most of our issues are rooted in the front row and I genuinely do believe that.

Im also on an even keel regarding warrington, but Its not really a statement on wether the signings work or not, more the intent, they more often than not fall on there face, but they go all in to rectify the issues.

At this stage I'm hoping it just appears that way. It appears that Smith has already marked a few cards. Two have already gone, Dywer and Sutcliffe were both dropped for Saints. Tetavano has maybe just marked his own card and Prior might well be heading home. Wheels might well be turning behind the scenes. Surely they've got to be? Put it this way, if the likes of Briscoe and Tet are part of the equation next season, I won't be renewing my season ticket for the first time in nearly 40 years.
