My first Magic Weekend experience. The fact the ground was 2.5 miles from the city centre seems to be the one sticking point that everyone I met said about the whole weekend, it is too far out. With Cardiff the stadium is right in the centre along with all the bars and food outlets. I found I had to stop at several watering holes along the way from the city centre to quench the thirst I had built up

However we all know the Magic Weekend will be in Edinburgh next year so I will go again as myself and the party I went with all had a good time. The best thing about the weekend is meeting the fans from all the other clubs in the bars along Rose Street (No 37), having a few drinks and getting along with each other.

BTW, any reports on how many "locals" attended, given the WRU failure to promote the concept to the Welsh was cited as a major reason for moving it?
