Terrible attitude around the club. Why oh why did we ever think a bloke who took a team backwards every season he was in charge would make an iota of impact at Leeds? I don't mind losing (I watched Leeds in the 80's) but the lack of any semblance of structure in this team that has lead us to success over the last few years is too much to bear.
Should have got rid of Senior, mcguire, burrows, buderus, jjb, webb, peacock etc and spent 2 years rebuilding, and you would have been competing with a young squad in 2013..... but you stuck with players over the hill based on past exploits... and now you're stuck with old players taking up the salary cap and a hopeless coach to boot.
The focus for blame appears to be directed at McDermott and Lowes.
However, the indiscipline was there for all to see last season as well.
It's a tired, over-the-hill squad at Leeds that's been in decline for several seasons. The amount of indiscipline they are exhibiting is a reaction from a squad of players who were used to winning silverware and having things their own way but no longer are. They all know this, but it's easier to whine, chelp, niggle, get penalised, blame the ref, blame anyone or anything but themselves. They are no longer fit for the purpose.
The time for sentiment is over.
Reason must prevail instead.
This squad is finished as a competitive entity and there should be no further contract renewals for any of them.

You could say soemthing similar about half your squad, except Lee Briers and co don't have a GF win between them so technically don't have any "past exploits" to be over the hill from (apart from Morley of course). JJB is as good as any second row in the competition still, McGuire was our player of the year last year and absolutely outstanding - would you replace your player of the year? Peacock, when fully recovered will be more effective than any front rower you have and Webb is more than a match for the pensioner you have at FB. Buderus is going, Senior is going and we have prelacements for both. So your point is?
I maintain my stance on this since the season began.
McDermott and Lowes out.
Brian Carney had a couple of good shouts in the commentary. First his belief like many on here that there is too much talent in the squad for displays like tonights to be acceptable.
Second, that the ten minute spell when Leeds got fired up and launched a sniff of a comeback was done without any semblance of structure or organisation, they just played on natural instinct and emotion. That says it all for me, the only decent spell of a game when they were ignoring everything about how they had set out to play.

Totally agree mate, if we played like we did last week and lost again then fair enough, but to put in a showing like tonight just isn't good enough
we put in a good performance against FC earlier in the season and backed that up with poor performances against quins and warrington. Then we put in a good performance against salford and back that up with a poor performance against saints. We Then put in a good performance against wigan, then back that up with shocking performances against KR, and hudders. Its been the story of our season, theres no consisitantsy at all

JJB, Buderus and Peacock have been our better players. Burrow yes offers nothing. Senior was our best centre until his injury and McGuire and Webb are the only 2 who might unlock a defence, Kirke, Ali, Bailey, Smith, Hauraki and maybe Kylie yes. We need to stop playing Sinfield at SO and Ablett at Centre. We should have enough strength in depth but we haven`t. There`s no structure to the plays and we have no kicking game no half backs who dominate and we must be the worst team for defending the high ball. Next year could be worse with what we have retained so far.

Perfect example of what is wrong with your club, can't see past the medals..... Peacock wouldn't get in the Wire 17, his finished.... you keep telling yourself you have great players its just the coaches fault, hope your owner has the same opinion, nice seeing leeds in 8th.

The Famous Leeds rugby went to Rome to see the Pope, We have changed this song from Wigan as you have now taken the mantle of the Team Living in the past. Your comments about JJB, Peacock , McGuire and certainly Webb are not comments which anyone with any knowledge of rugby would make
