IF what Bailey did is worth 3 game ban, then why did Silverwood not send him off? unless he didnt see the incident of course........

According to McDermott he says he has 2 props chomping at the bit to take over at prop or words to that affect.
He went on to say if Bailey were to get banned it would be up to him to win the jersey back.
He said before the ban was known if he did push the ref he deserved a 3 match ban and needs to learn a lesson.
I`m sure someone can qoute it better than I have.

This comment pretty much sums up what a joke refs and the rfl are these days. Refs consistently bottling big decisions because in their mind it can be rectified at a later date.

However, for what is worth i'm amazed it even got referred to the disciplinary panel never mind a 3 game ban.

What a f*cking joke - really!!!

Silverwood gets it all wrong and Bailey cops a three match ban, how is that justice?

I've watched this indecent several times now, both from the Sky footage and also from the amateur footage taken from the Southstand (which, surprisingly shows a better perspective of the incident than Sky) and Silverwood stuffs up.

When he blows for the penalty he should have retired BEHIND the defensive line, instead he tracks across the front of what is now a sliding defence.

OK Bailey shouldn’t have shoved Silverwood and that’s an absolute offence which needs to be addressed. A letter or/and fine but a 3 match ban?? A f*cking joke – an absolute f*cking joke.
