By pulling the trigger now it suggests that the powers that be believe we are a top club and should be way above way we are. That for me is very poor judgement and sets up any coach taking the reigns from here for a similar fate.
We don't know what's gone on though, if Furner has caused division within the squad/the club it may be best to cut ties now rather than let it continue.
Like I say I don't know what's gone on Furner seems like a nice genuine guy but if there's an issue it needed sorting sooner rather than later.
