It's easy to look the most skillful player when you only have to make 3 tackles a game and never get tackles. I think he's have been good at league but it's a totally different sport
He’s the Harlequin 10 and is trying to pin down the England fly-half role. He is very skilful and off the cuff, hence why he has his detractors in kick and clap.
He is very good ball in hand and a bit of a throwback, but I’m not sure he is the best defender in union so would be even worse defensively in league.

Jeez must be tough trying to transition from being a prop to a 5/8th.
Still, never heard of him and doubt many people coming from a union background nowadays would have the skill set to play League at SL or NRL level unless they are young enough to still be taught the core skills.

Played for the British Lions and a decent half back for England. Not a bad shout as a RL player. However he probably earns 5 times more in RU.
Wonder whether the IMG factor is already lifting standards. Significant ground upgrade proposed by Hull KR, Cas academy upgraded to elite, first paid women players. Just coincidence?
