Walmsley would be great in the NRL, Hill would've done well a couple of years ago too, all our props look better than Graham now, though.

Tonga v Australia is a massive game this week, they are currently the best 2 teams in the World

That game epitomised everything wrong with our current competition. The fact we have just had the lowest quality super league season ever, shone through in that GB performance also. We have took a big step backwards.

One up sh!te. Ooh but what do we do if the opposition don't miss tackles? Clueless rubbish. I lost count of the times our half backs got the ball wide then came back inside to take a tackle themselves. It was liking watching mini rugby where the kids always run back in the direction they received the pass from. Did Ryan Hall actually receive a pass on the wing? We played the entire game in the middle third of the pitch. We have neither the skill or the power to create space out wide and then use it. SL is so inconsistent that basically the team that turns up and completes some sets wins. You see some games with 50% completion rates so all you have to do is hold the ball and eventually crash over from 5 yards out to score.

Half the side are NRL players! Nothing to do with SL. The best players for GB were all in SL last year (Bateman aside). Graham, Hodgson, Burgess all poor.

That for me was down to the coach - wrong side picked, tactically inept and dated.

I think GB thought they'd win off Tongan errors. Trouble is GB were so conservative with the ball they didn't fatigue Tonga at all.

The issue with that is that we had NRL players in our side. Hodgson is a great hooker for the Raiders but he has never fitted in the international set up, he plays too much like a half back which hampers our half backs, one of which played in the NRL for the whole of his career.

Not to mention the Coach is from the NRL.

Bennet's squad selection is very baffling and will mean we will struggle for the whole tour.
having said all that Tonga were magnificent and absolute Joy to watch, I really hope they can get stuck into the Aussies and give them a decent game.

having said all that Tonga were magnificent and absolute Joy to watch, I really hope they can get stuck into the Aussies and give them a decent game.

Bennett has been restricted with injuries/withdrawls - only Watts seems to be a player that most would argue should be included.
